The Role of Solar Neutrinos in the Jupiter
نویسنده
چکیده
Judging from the fact that the planet Jupiter is bigger in size than the Earth by 10 while is smaller than the Sun by 10 and that the average distance of the Jupiter from the Sun is 5.203a.u., the solar neutrinos, when encounter the Jupiter, may have some accumulating effects bigger than on the Earth. We begin by estimating how much energy/power carried by solar neutrinos get transferred by this unique process, to confirm that solar neutrinos, despite of their feeble neutral weak current interactions, might deposit enough energy in the Jupiter. We also speculate on the other remarkable effects. PACS Indices: 96.40.Tv (Neutrinos and muons); 96.30.Kf (Jupiter); 95.85.Ry (Neutrino, etc.).

Constraints on Jupiter’s Age and Formation Mechanism and the Nebula Lifetime from Chondrites and Asteroids
Introduct ion: Since the major chondritic components—chondrules, Ca-Al–rich inclusions (CAIs), and amoeboid-olivine inclusions—formed in the nebula, their ages provide a limit for the lifetime of the solar nebula. If chondritic components accreted into asteroids before Jupiter formed, then these ages also provide constraints on the time of Jupiter’s formation. Such constraints might identify wh...
متن کاملConstraints on the Environment Depence of the Neutrino Mass from Solar and Reactor Neutrino Data
We investigate what can be the role of Mass Varying Neutrinos in several different neutrino oscillation experiments, in particular focusing on the relation between KamLAND data and solar neutrino experiment results. Assuming that the adiabaticity of solar neutrinos evolution in LMA-MSW scenario is not broken by the inclusion of this new mechanism, we can establish new limits on MaVaN’s paramete...
متن کاملNeutrino Astrophysics
A general overview of neutrino physics and astrophysics is given, starting with a historical account of the development of our understanding of neutrinos and how they helped to unravel the structure of the Standard Model. We discuss why it is so important to establish if neutrinos are massive and introduce the main scenarios to provide them a mass. The present bounds and the positive indication...
متن کاملAstrophysical and Cosmological Neutrinos
— We review the role of massive neutrinos in astrophysics and cosmol-ogy, assuming that the oscillation interpretation of solar and atmospheric neutrinos is correct. In particular, we discuss cosmological mass limits, neutrino flavor oscillations in the early universe, leptogenesis, and neutrinos in core-collapse supernovae.
متن کاملGiant Planets and their Satellites: What are the Relationships Between Their Properties and How They Formed?
The giant planet region in our solar system appears to be bounded inside by the limit of water condensation, suggesting that the most abundant astrophysical condensate plays an important role in giant planet formation. Indeed, Jupiter and Saturn exhibit evidence for rock and/or ice cores or central concentrations that probably accumulated first, acting as nuclei for subsequent gas accumulation....
